G&B Group SRL certifies that it respects your rights conferred by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and by Law No. 677/2001 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data.
What is personal data?
Any information by which a natural person becomes identifiable, such as: a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier, one or more elements specific to their physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity, etc.
What does the processing of personal data mean?
Any operation or set of operations performed on personal data or on sets of personal data, with or without the use of automated means, such as: collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation, modification, extraction, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission (including to third parties), dissemination or making available in any other way, joining/alignment or combination, blocking/restriction, erasure or destruction.
What are the risks generated by improper processing that does not comply with national and European legal provisions?
The risk referred to by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and Law No. 677/2000, as subsequently amended and supplemented, is defined as follows:
“The risk […] may be the result of personal data processing that could generate physical, material or moral damage, in particular in cases where: processing may lead to discrimination, identity theft or fraud, financial loss, damage to reputation, loss of confidentiality of personal data protected by professional secrecy, unauthorised reversal of pseudonymisation or any other significant economic or social disadvantage” (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data).
What measures has our company taken for the safe collection and processing of your personal data?
We assure you at the same time that our company manages in safe conditions and only for the specified purposes the personal data that you provide us about yourself, a member of your family or another person, with the objective of eliminating the risks concerning the security of your personal data.
G&B Group SRL guarantees the security and confidentiality of hosted and transmitted data through its IT system; databases are protected including through electronic encryption; collaboration protocols have been concluded with IT companies that manage our web page; data security specifications have been included in collaboration contracts as well as in internal procedures; and there are confidentiality provisions in our employees’ contracts.
What are the purposes of collecting and processing personal data?
The purposes of collecting personal data are: advertising, marketing and publicity as well as electronic communication services. It is necessary to provide the data, as they are also required for commercial communications, product delivery and the issuance of fiscal documents.
Who else may process personal data on our behalf?
G&B Group SRL may authorise courier companies to process such data for product delivery. Our employees are also involved in this process of collecting and processing personal data.
Furthermore, G&B Group SRL may provide personal data to other companies with which it has partnership relationships, but only on the basis of a confidentiality commitment from them, by which they guarantee that this data is kept safe and that the provision of this personal information is carried out in accordance with the legislation in force, as follows: marketing service providers, courier services, payment/banking services, telemarketing or other services provided by companies with which we may develop joint programmes for offering our Goods and Services on the market, insurers.
The Buyer’s personal information may also be provided to the General Prosecutor’s Office, Police, courts and other authorised state bodies, on the basis of and within the limits of legal provisions and as a result of expressly formulated requests.
How long is the data kept?
We mention that our company keeps the data for as long as the legal requirement regarding accounting documents provides, does not archive them, does not use them for advertising purposes without your express consent. Your data is also kept for the entire warranty period of the purchased product.
What are the rights of the persons whose data is collected and processed?
Right to information
You can request information about the processing activities of your personal data.
Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”)
You can obtain the erasure of data if their processing was not lawful or in other cases provided by law.
Right to restriction of processing
You can request the restriction of processing if you contest the accuracy of the data, as well as in other cases provided by law.
Right to object
You can object, in particular, to data processing based on our legitimate interest.
Right to rectification
You can rectify inaccurate personal data or complete them.
Right to data portability
You can receive, under certain conditions, the personal data you have provided to us in a machine-readable format, or you can request that the respective data be transmitted to another controller.
Right to lodge a complaint
You can lodge a complaint regarding the manner of processing personal data with the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing.
Right to withdraw consent
In cases where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. The withdrawal of consent will only have effects for the future; the processing carried out prior to the withdrawal shall remain valid.
Additional rights related to automated decisions
You can request and obtain human intervention regarding the respective processing, you can express your own point of view regarding it and you can contest the decision.
